Anachem Pipette Service BSI accredited
The Anachem Group is registered with the British Standards Institute Management Systems to the Standards BS EN ISO 9001: 2000, since 1993 and BS EN ISO 14001: 2004, since June 2006. BSi Management Systems is the largest organisation in the UK for registration to our Standards. It also operates worldwide and, as a member of the International Standards Organisation, its’ registrations are recognised in most countries throughout the world.
ISO 9001
This is the internationally recognised standard for Quality Management, which covers all aspects of a Company’s operations. The Standard’s aim is to ensure that we meet all the obligations and commitments we have made to our customers. It also ensures we have the resources, infrastructure and working environment to meet these commitments. This complements our UKAS registration and seeks to ensure all other activities we undertake for our customers meet the high standards of our calibration service. To ensure we remain ‘up-to-scratch’ our registration authority, BSi, audits us every 6 months.
ISO 14001
This is the internationally recognised standard for Environmental Management systems, which covers all activities on the Luton site. It was felt that Anachem’s acceptance of its’ impact on the world environment and our efforts to minimise this impact would benefit from formalising and inviting external assessment. We therefore instituted our environmental management system to the Standard ISO 14001. This standard requires us, not only be compliant with all environmental legislation, but also to operate a continuous improvement programme. To this end we are pleased to discuss with our customers opportunities for mutual environmental improvement projects. To ensure we remain environmentally active our registration authority, BSi, audits us every 6 months.
Health & Safety
Although we do not intend to register our health and safety activity we use OHSAS 18001 as the basis for our Health & Safety Management System and consider that we fully comply with these requirements.
